The story of Thomas Beattie aka The First Pregnant Man has really been overblown. This is very deceptive at first the way ABC and other literature first portrays this case. Congratulations to the Beaties but there is nothing spectacular about this case. Thomas is a female to male trangendered man now he still has his female reprodcutive organs. His pregnancy really is no different than any non-transgendered females pregnancy. I have no problems or issues with this type of family having a child or this type of person giving birth to a child but lets quit making a big deal out of nothing. It is not a miracle of science or nature and I feel like the media is mislabeling the case to rope people in. I actually feel sorry for this family that they would allow the media to use them in this way. Media Empire, come back to me when you have an actual non-reassigned pregnant male that has never had female reproductive organs and has undergone some succesfull form of artificial pregnancy that takes and subsequently the result is a healthy birth.

Q: President Bush believes that gay couples should not be permitted to adopt children. Do you agree with that?

Mr. McCain: I think that we’ve proven that both parents are important in the success of a family so, no I don’t believe in gay adoption.

Q: Even if the alternative is the kid staying in an orphanage, or not having parents.

Mr. McCain: I encourage adoption and I encourage the opportunities for people to adopt children I encourage the process being less complicated so they can adopt as quickly as possible. And Cindy and I are proud of being adoptive parents.

Q: But your concern would be that the couple should a traditional couple

Mr. McCain: Yes.

You tend to overlook bad behavior from others if you see them as not much different from yourself. The straight world has been pretty shitty in overlooking ANYTHING the gay world does because they don't see themselves in us. They bring up the supposed debauchery in a gay pride parade, but they see nothing wrong with the show-me-your-tits-for-beads at Mardi Gras or the yearly AVN porn awards that reward the best in straight sex. A favorite target are gay bathhouses, but swinger clubs across the nation probably outnumber bathouses 4-1. Gay sex in public places really sends the straight world into a fit, but let's be fair here. If there was a public park filled with women who wanted to give free blowjobs, cars would be lined up around the block with straight guys 24/7. Now I find out about "Cougars," older women who chase guys in their teens and twenties. There are cougar "workshops," dating services, on-line hook-up sites, books, and even a movie ("Cougar Club"). Who knew roving bands of Mrs. Robinsons in supermarket produce isles looking for teen dick to suck the youth out off would be the new heterosexual trend. The irony of this particular phenomenon is how often heterosexuals think WE are the predators of the young. If a how-to workshop started for older gay men on how to pick up young guys, the straight world would go ape shit. Hypocrisy, like a shit stick, really is a bitch if your on the receiving end of it. Sometime I see the "straight by default until you say otherwise" world I live in like the nosey, busy body, neighbor Mrs. Kravitz on the old "Bewitched" series, determined to catch us doing something and shouting "Abner! Come look!" When she thinks she does.

I'm OUT 2008

So a friend of mine that knows people, and knows people that know people invited me to go to LA with him this weekend to go to the Outfest 2008 26th Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian film festival. I so cant even wait. It is going to be fun. I guess there is an after party at a night club that we will also get to attened. OMG.... Theres even a RED CARPET.... I could end up on the internets ....lol
